January 11 Joined a gymMacy Here: Well what an interesting week. I finished up a J term class. Spring semester starts a week from Monday. I signed up at Golds gym yesterday and Jenni is going this week. I also hired a personal trainer for 12 visits I need someone to hold me accountable until I can get motivated and see some changes so I will stick to this! January 04 Our First Week Macy here: This is the first I am getting to actually writing a blog. I have been thinking about it for a couple of days, but I started school on the second and homework comes first before blogging! We "officially" started on the 2nd, and so far so good. I am feeling pretty confident and I haven't been as tired which is nice. As far as diet goes I have switched to six mini meals and really cut out anything white... I replaced white rice, potatoes, noodles, and bread with whole grain bread, brown rice and whole wheat pastas. Today we went out to eat at Red Robin and I had their protein burger which is pretty much a burger with no bun and a head of lettuce holding it all together. Surprisingly it was really good I had a small side salad with it and dipped my salad into the dressing only using half of the little red cups they give you. We have been going on walks and today we chased the dogs around the dog park... Besides the mud it was a lot of fun just a little cold! It will be nice as it warms up to get outside more, but so far I am enjoying this. Jenni here: This is the first blog from me as well. Starting this was pretty easy. I am just getting over the stomach flu so that was great for water weight. Don't have much of an appetite so starting the diet isn't to difficult. Now that I am feeling better I'm just watching what I eat. No more candy, chips, soda, etc... More of the veggies and fruit. I have been walking at home also if not with Macy and tried some yoga moves from a magazine I had lying around. I look forward to writing more later |
